As a result of reforms that have been implemented recently Azerbaijan became one of the fastest growing and modernizing states in the world, and was able to improve its indicators in a number of international ratings. According to the World Bank's Doing Business Report 2019, Azerbaijan is listed among 10 countries that have improved its positions on the basis of various indicators and ranks 25th among 190 countries in terms of Ease of Starting Business Index

Since 2019 the significant optimism is being observed in such key aspects of business climate as political and social stability, labor legislation and migration policy, as well as customs clearance procedures and labor cost. Despite the current economic stability in the country, the Government has identified as a priority the rising competitiveness of the national economy, the effective integration in the world economic system and the ensuring sustainability of dynamic socio-economic development.
