• Labor relations in Azerbaijan are regulated by Labor Code and relevant legislation;
• Labor relations enter into force after the signed labor contract is uploaded to the electronic database of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population;
• Salaries are paid in Azerbaijani manat;
• During the recruitment period, a 3-month trial period is applied;
• 70 days before birth and 56 days after birth women are paid an allowance for maternity leave by the State Social Protection Fund;
